Mission Statement
St. Laurent Adult Centre is a community based educational establishment situated in the heart of Saint Laurent. We serve a large multi-cultural student population and promote the values of tolerance, non-discrimination, and respect for people and property.
As an important partner in the life-long learning process, we use a variety of teaching methods; offer appropriate materials to improve literacy and introduce our students to life and work skills. We provide students with the academic requirements needed to enter career and academic programs at the Vocational, CEGEP and University levels.
While our staff will do everything to encourage learning, we expect our students to have a strong desire to succeed, to be responsible and to take an active part in their own learning.
St. Laurent Adult Centre is committed to meeting the needs of the community in a structured and supportive environment.
